Supreme Yellow Sweet

Also hailing from the home of Puer, 滇红 tea is also known as the “Yunnan Red Tea”. Similar to the Silver Needle tea, this tea can be found covered in tiny golden hairs. With its vibrant orange brass color, one may refer to it as the “golden tipped” leaf. Appropriately, you will find a golden coat along each leaf that marks it as a true high grade “Dian Hong”. This tea has an immediately apparent complexity in it's flavor, lacking the slight astringency and bitterness one might associate with standard grade alternatives-- and instead has an amplified sense of subtle sweetness and a vibrant aroma.
