Loose Puer (Cooked)

We used to call this our Young Puer, but when it was young it was ~3 years old. The passage of time has turned 3 years into 8, and now our "Young" puer has aged wonderfully into one that is relatively mature.

This is the standard-bearer of Puers and would effectively serve as a gatekeeper for introducing one to Puers as a whole. Generally speaking, if you like this tea, then your palette is open to Puers; if not then Puers are likely not to your taste. As one last bit of friendly advice, please allow me to tell you a story:

One day there was an old woman whom we shall dub Grandma Wang. Grandma Wang was known as the wisewoman of her village. A village known for its production of Puer teas, in fact. One day a young man came to her for advice, seeking the answers to three questions: how to succeed in romance, how to succeed in his studies, and how to succeed in his finances. Grandma Wang asked him if he had any other questions he needed answered. Embarrassed, the young man confessed, “Yes, it is a little embarrassing but, how do you pronounce the name of the tea your village is known for?”

“What an innocent question from this little one,” Grandma Wang thought to herself as she chuckled lightly. She asked him to explain everything he has been doing, everything he thinks he has been doing wrong, and everything he thinks he’s done right. Hearing all he had to say, she chuckles once more and says:

“Good child! Your ideas are great, your energy is plenty, but you have PUER execution.”
