This is a tea best enjoyed when steeped and brewed with as much wild abandon as the environs it hails from. Expect this tea to taste more "lively" relative to the other Puers we stock.
As the name suggests, this Puer is naturally wild in every sense of the word. It is named wild, it is found in the wild, it is grown in the wild. Or, at least, it was đ
This varietal was originally cultivated "as-is" without any form of supervision, but is now harvested under relatively controlled conditions in plantations that emulate a more chaotic environment as best they can. That process produces a very unique, woodsy, bark-like flavor that still retains the traditional earthy tone found in a typical Puer. Personally, we think the modern-day gentrification of its cultivation process takes away from the street cred of its name just a little bit, but we can't help but love the flavor profile regardless.
